Slacking
Man, ive been slacking this week, the wsop circuit has come into town at choctaw casinos, which is about an hour drive from where I live. I had been avoiding it to make sure i dont fall of pace, but a couple friends of mine were going on monday for one of the side events and i figured why not, im ahead of pace anyways and playing live always makes me feel better when im struggling with poker.
Long story short, drove out there for an hour, the tourney started at noon, 448 players with 45 places getting paid, I did really well and was just cruising a long with a 2x time avg stack throughout most of the tourney, until with 49 players left, mp raises i 3bet AA otb, he ships and his 33 cracks my AA to go out 48th at like 1 am...sigh
Driving over two hours, playing over 12 and to go out like that, well that hurt...so last thing i wanted to do was play poker.
But Im feeling better now, Id like to play another 70k hands before the January ends, so I need to get my grind on. Hope you guys are doing well at the tables.

The Supernova Elite Chase
Hello -
My name is Hugo, and live in Dallas, Texas. Im 26 years old, and happily married to my wife Learyn. We have two english bulldogs, who are basically our babies. I was very into sports a while back, but working on the computer for a couple years has taken its toll on me, so time to start excercizing again.
My poker goals for 2011 are the following:
- Achieve SuperNovaElite Status on Pokerstars(which means playing right about 2,000,000 hands of poker at 1/2nl).
- Make $120,000 + from poker profit.
-Play the WSOP Main Event again.
-Try to stay on pace for SNE.
I need 1,000,000 vpps, i am currently at 80,145 vpps,still a long ways to go, but i think i can get there.
Today is Sunday, so the tables should be good. Thats it for now. Laters.
